Why was I drawn to communications? Specifically, advertising, marketing and public relations.
Because I have a warped sense of humor, and a desire to sell products. Perhaps it is the used car salesman genes from my grandfather. Perhaps it was the steady diet of British comedies in my impressionable youth. Or perhaps it is simply that I enjoy the persuasive nature of the communications. I enjoy the challenge of convincing someone - or a body of someones to see a superficial aspect of life the way I want them to. And I get paid to do so.
